Hope Academy supports you and your child(ren) throughout this difficult time. Distance learning and virtual school have become the norm for all schools throughout Miami Dade County. Our teachers and staff are committed to continuing the learning process. They are dedicated and available to you and your child(ren). As the school year comes to a close next month, please take note of the following announcements:
On Monday, May 4th, 2020, the final work packets for grades K thru 5thwill be distributed from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd, 2020, will be the last day for teachers to assign any new assignments to students. The week of Monday, May 25th, through Friday, May 29th, 2020, will be designated for make-up work only. Students may use this time to turn in any missed assignments to their teachers. All assignments must be turned in by Friday, May 29th, 2020. No school work will be accepted after this date. Friday will also be the last day of required class. All laptops and chargers must be returned from Monday, June 1st, through Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020. Please plan accordingly. Final report cards will be available on Friday, June 12th, 2020.
We are hopeful and look forward to seeing everyone in the fall for the 2020-2021 school year. Hope Academy is also looking forward to celebrating our Senior Class of 2020 once we open our doors once again. We plan to do something special for our seniors and will be in contact with our parents. Lastly, if you ordered a 2019-2020 yearbook, you will be notified once the yearbooks are delivered to the school campus. Due to COVID-19 the yearbooks have been delayed.
If you know of anyone who is looking to enroll their child in school for the 2020-2021 school year, please let them know that Hope Academy is open for enrollment. Our office staff will gladly assist them throughout the application process including the Step Up for Students Scholarship.
